11:21 a.m., Friday, 100 block of North Broadway Street; Helping Hands, assault. There was an assault and assistance was given.

3:04 p.m., Friday, 100 block of East Eighth Street, theft. A woma reported theft and the issue was found to be civil.

4:23 p.m., Friday, 70 block of East Eighth Street, animal bites. A woman reported a dog bite.

9:23 p.m., Friday, 200 block of West Fifth Street, civil. There was report of a juvenile problem.

9:53 p.m., Friday, 100 block of East Second Street, Fraud. A woman reported someone opening a Verizon account with her information.

10:46 p.m., Friday, 30 block of South Broadway Street; Peru Police Department, agency assistance. PPD helped locate a runaway juvenile.

11:27 p.m., Friday, 200 block of East Second Street, criminal mischief. There was report of criminal mischief with no damage reported.

3:39 a.m., Saturday, West Third and South Broadway streets, traffic stop. An unknown subject was arrested for operating while intoxicated and was issued a citation for speeding and a receipt for license.

10:04 a.m., Saturday, 300 block of West Third Street, fire. PPD assisted Peru Fire Department with a deck fire.

2:10 p.m., Saturday, 700 block of West Main Street; Paul Richards, criminal mischief. There was criminal mischief to several vehicles at Paul Richards.

5:24 p.m., Saturday, 60 block of South Broadway Street; Cooleys, suspicious person. There was report of a man trying to get into vehicles.

6:57 p.m., Saturday, 600 block of Vanburen Avenue, disorderly conduct. A woman reported a disorderly man, yelling in the road.

7:02 p.m., Saturday, 30 block of  South Broadway Street; Peru Police Department, harassment. A man reported harassment.

9:28 p.m., Saturday, 30 block of South Broadway Street; Peru Police Department, suspicious person. A man reported a suspicious vehicle following him.

1:43 a.m., Sunday, 400 block of East Third Street, pursuit vehicle/foot. A woman fled from law enforcement in her vehicle and on foot.

5:14 p.m., Sunday, 900 block of West Main Street, controlled substance. There was report of two subjects using narcotics.

6:22 p.m., Sunday, 30 block of South Broadway Street, citizen assist. A woman reported a civil issue involving child custody exchange.

10:24 a.m., Friday, 20 block of North Broadway Street; Miami County Courthouse, harassment. A man reported being harassed by a family member of his ex-girlfriend.

1:01 p.m., Friday, North 550 East and East Wabash Road, traffic stop. A man was issued a citation for speeding and taken into custody on a probation violation warrant and driving while suspended-prior.

4:06 p.m., Friday, 1100 block of West 200 North; Miami County Sheriff’s Department; Miami County Jail, child neglect. A female reported the neglect of her mentally handicapped daughter by a care giver.

2:08 p.m., Saturday, 36000 block of Beale Court, theft. A woman reported a crossbow missing from her garage.

3:38 p.m., Saturday, 35000 block of Altus Court, burglary. A man and woman advised their female friend broke into their home and took their television and xbox.

9:05 a.m., Sunday, 2900 block of South 300 West, assault. A man reported unwanted advances by an individual he met online.

11:31 p.m., Sunday, 7600 block of South Ind. 19, disorderly conduct. There was a dispute between a father and juvenile daughter.

1:46 p.m., Friday, Tyler J. Backus, 21, last known address 363 E. 6th St., violation of probation and driving while suspended-prior. He is being held at the Miami County Jail without bond.

2:15 p.m., Friday, Kristen M. Mills, 27, last known address 24 Ewing St., two counts of violation of probation. She is being held at the Miami County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
