2:36 p.m., Wednesday, 2843 S. Hilltop Drive, Apt. 5, Peru, welfare check. Subject checked okay, wasn’t homicidal or suicidal, just wanted a ride to the doctor.

5:55 p.m., Wednesday, 2970 W. SR-18, Kokomo, traffic accident with property damage. A Kokomo man was westbound on SR-18 attempting to stop at the stop light at US-31 in a red 2004 Chevrolet. He was unable to stop in time and struck the rear end of a white 2016 Ford driven by a Galveston man, causing damage to both vehicles. There were no injuries and a crash report was completed.

9:53 pm., Wednesday, West 600 North and North 300 West, Peru, electrical hazard. Old, not functioning utility pole was across the roadway in the are of 600 North and 300 West. The pole was removed from the roadway.
