On their first day back to in-person learning, students at Blair Pointe Elementary had to be dismissed from Peru High School after their building was cleared due to an unspecified threat.
“Due to a building threat concerning Blair Pointe elementary and for precautionary measures, we have evacuated all students and staff from Blair Pointe to the High School Tig Arena,” a message from Peru Schools superintendent Sam Watkins said on Tuesday afternoon.
