The third annual Lights in the Airpark display is drawing more visitors to the Grissom Air Museum. Running through Jan. 1, the exhibit honors service members and highlights the personal stories behind their history.

The grounds have been decorated by volunteers to combine traditional Christmas fare with military gusto. Rudolph the Reindeer is honored by having his own flying school display lit up for the crowd. A pair of jolly, lit-up penguins guide the way to the illuminated guard tower. The path is lined with glowing airplane models, each about the size of a small car, in front of the Cold War-era military aircraft on display.
