A car show held Saturday for Riley Pitner, a 7-year-old girl with Batten disease, resulted in thousands of dollars being raised for the youngster.
Batten disease is a fatal illness of the nervous system. It is a rare genetic disorder that begins in infancy or later in childhood. Symptoms include motor, vision impairment and seizures.
