The information in the following report was obtained from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office and other area law enforcement agencies. Individuals named in this report are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law. 

Wynter D. Biehl, 22, 532 W. 500 N., Urbana, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday (MCSD) and was charged with two probation violations. 

Tavaris L. Coffee, 33, 1149 Wildwood Drive, Kokomo, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday (MCSD) and was charged with a parole violation.

12:37 p.m. A caller reported that someone had used a credit card check that was in her name and forged it for $421.52. This case is under investigation.

5:39 p.m. Ahmed Alhajhouj, 28, of Onward, was traveling east on C.R. 500 S., west of C.R. 400 W. He was unable to see over a hill that a large piece of farm equipment that was west bound and driving left of center. He swerved to the south to avoid striking the equipment and left the south side of the roadway, which caused damage to the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to $3,000. 

5:57 p.m. Police advised neighbors on W. Main Street not to take video through each others windows.

11:38 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a prowler on Barksdale Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.

3:01 p.m. Suspicious activity reported on 104 S. Miami St. where a male walked in a shop with a gun. Shop was a gun shop and everything checked out OK.

4:12 p.m. Report of erratic behavior by complainant’s son due to possible narcotics use.
