The North Miami FFA chapter senior-level team competed in the state parliamentary procedures contest on Feb. 8 at Lebanon High School.

They earned this right after placing in the top spot at the district level which was held in December and then moving on to win the section contest held at Rossville in January. At the contest the senior team completed a written and oral test upon the adjournment of their meeting. The senior parliamentary team was again successful and won the state contest for the second year in a row and will now advance to the national contest held at the FFA National Convention in October. The team is coached by FFA advisor Jim Wildermuth, but would also like to thank alumnus Nate Maynard, who was on the 2019 national team, for assisting in coaching this season.
