Anne Kelly, 80, died Jan. 4, 2020 at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1939 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Paul and Reta (Dye) Ingersoll. In 1958 she married James P. Kelly.
Anne graduated Peru High School where she excelled both academically and in music. She received her BA from Dominican College Houston, Texas and her MA from University of Texas Arlington. Settling in San Diego, California, she was an assistant Superintendent of the Escondido School District retiring in 1997.
They traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad, settling in Medford, Oregan to be near family. In retirement Anne volunteered for many organizations willingly sharing her skills.
Anne is survived by sons Scott (Sarah) of Medford, and Tim (Maggie) Kelly, Arizona, sister Reta Kidd and special nephew Phil Kidd, Peru, several cousins, nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Norm Ingersoll, daughter Theresa Greve, granddaughter Laura Greve and an infant daughter. A memorial inscription will be etched on her parents gravestone. Per Anne’s request memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
