Marian University adds Jolee Holland to the ranks

Maconaquah senior Jolee Holland (C) recently signed on to continue her soccer playing days as a member of the Marian University women’s soccer program starting in the fall of the 2020-21 school year. With Holland at the signing was (L to R) Marian University assistant coach and Development Team head coach Justin Sullivan, mother Angela, father Dwight, grandmother Dora Gilbert and Maconaquah girls’ soccer head coach Colin Quin.

When it comes to Maconaquah girls’ soccer, there was one name that was circled on every opposing team’s whiteboard when it came time to take on the Braves: Jolee Holland.

A 20+ goal scorer each of the past three season, Holland rarely traversed a pitch where the entire opposing defense was not eying her every step over the course of 80 minutes each match.
